Barrandov MAX Stage

LARGEST STAGE IN EUROPE

This modern soundproof stage, measuring 44,820 square feet (4,164 square meters), has the highest ceiling available (45.1 ft or 13.75 m). It offers the full convenience of catwalks and stage elevators. A winch system allows counterweights and sets to be suspended and the wooden floor is appropriate for mounting sets.

A unique system of dismountable soundproof panels allows the interior, which is 322.2 ft (98.2 m) long, to be divided into three individual sound stages (Stage Nos. 8, 9 and 10) or any other possible combination. Each stage has its own large entry gate for manipulating technical equipment.

Two trapdoors (specifically those available with Stage Nos. 8 and 10) are included as an above-standard feature of the MAX stage.

The sound stage is equipped with an exhaust system that allows for the localized removal of smoke (smoke effects, fireplaces, smoke bombs …).

The air circulation technology installed at the sound stage allows the air to be replaced very quickly. The working light system uses the most modern equipment and allows for the perfect display of colors.

The sound stage is connected with auxiliary facilities by a covered corridor.
